The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast no major weather changes in Mumbai this week. The city will continue to experience clear skies and warm temperatures, with daytime highs between 36°C and 37°C and night-time temperatures around 26°C to 27°C. Meanwhile, IMD has issued a Yellow Alert for hot and humid conditions in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg for the next three days.
From April 10, skies are expected to become cloudy, with a slight drop in temperatures and chances of light showers.

On Friday evening, a sudden dust storm hit Mumbai and Thane, disrupting traffic and reducing visibility. Several areas saw brief rain and thunderstorms, worsening the disruption. Strong winds carried thick dust clouds, prompting residents to report breathing issues and traffic congestion. Users on X shared videos of low visibility and gridlocked roads.
April Forecast
IMD’s forecast for April 2025 predicts above-normal minimum and maximum temperatures across Maharashtra. More heatwave days are expected, especially in interior regions. South Konkan and South Madhya Maharashtra may see normal to above-normal rainfall, while North Konkan and Marathwada are likely to receive near-normal rain.
