Today, Mumbai’s first underground Mumbai Metro 3, also known as Aqua Line, will be inaugurated by India’s Prime Minister, who is set to take the first ride. Out of the 10 stations along the route, nine are underground. The Aarey station is the only grade-level station in this stretch, located near the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR).
Following the inauguration, Aqua Line Phase 1 will swing into action on October 6.
