Serving authentic North Indian delights since 1989, Bandra's Khane Khas is rooted in traditions
Located in Bandra, Khane Khas is renowned for its rich Punjabi and Mughlai flavours. Established in 1989 by Atul Sahni, Nutan Bajaj Prithipal Singh and Hardeep Chadha, Khane Khas has continuously innovated its offerings. The moment we walked into the outlet, we were greeted by the delightful aroma of Sarso ka Saag, its newest seasonal sensation - ready to delight taste buds for the next 15 days.
A modest open-air North Indian restaurant
Known for its marinade expertise, Khane Khas offers eight unique varieties that enhance any dish. We treated our taste buds with the ₹350 Pahadi Chicken Tikka and were blown away by its deliciousness. The Pahadi blend made the chicken unbelievably tender and flavourful.
Khane Khas' authentic Biryani, served in a traditional matka, is still a crowd favorite, but its Dhuan Chicken has recently become a sensation in the city. However, the 'People's Choice Award' goes to the eatery's signature rolls. Further, Rabdi, Suji, and Gulab Jamun make the ideal sweet finish for those who prefer dessert.
In addition to its outstanding food, Khane Khas also provides a personalised eating experience. The founders' presence creates a cosy, homely vibe, and it's evident in every move that they genuinely care about their clients' comfort. Every visit feels like a treasured get-together with old friends, and the outdoor seating only adds to the charm.
Head for a mouth-watering treat!
