WR rolls out SOPs for Mumbai stations, with new women-centric approach | Details inside

In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, Western Railway (WR) has introduced a set of women-centric SOPs to make railway stations more gender-inclusive, according to a Hindustan Times report. These protocols will be integrated into the Amrit Bharat station scheme, enhancing stations with improved amenities designed to meet the needs of female passengers and staff alike.

As per reports, these SOPs will initially be introduced at stations along Mumbai’s Churchgate-Dahanu corridor that meet the necessary criteria.
