COVID curbs for cinema halls, markets & hotels eased across Indore & other MP districts

Madhya Pradesh administration, in view of the receding COVID cases, has awarded a set of new relaxations, effective today onwards. All markets in Indore and other MP districts will now be permitted to operate till 10 PM, each day. The staggered timings will categorically reduce overcrowding in market areas, especially during closing hours. Besides, cinema halls have been permitted to function at 50% capacity while hotels have received a nod to operate at 100% potential.

Indore's civic body & health dept conduct tests of those violating COVID norm at major crossroads

Indore Municipal Corporation and the state health department have joined hands to combat the second surge of covid in the city. Joint teams by these two units are conducting COVID-19 tests, at every major crossroad, of those individuals who are seen flouting covid norms. These tests done randomly on individuals, are expected to help flatten the curve in Indore, thereby, easing curfew restrictions at the earliest.

COVID cases in Indore scale a marginal dip as 1,627 test positive for the infection on Monday

The coronavirus infection graph in Indore has charted a minuscule dip in fresh COVID tallies, harnessing a small yet significant respite for the city dwellers. The downward trend promises the plateauing of the second swell of the infection rise, which had gripped Indore since April 13, this year. Private ambulances in Indore & other MP districts to now ferry COVID patients at subsidised fares!

In a bid to provide an economic respite to the COVID-stricken citizens in Madhya Pradesh, the state's Transport Department has regulated and fixed the cost of private ambulances for the benefit of the general public. As per reports, the rates of all advanced and basic ambulances have been subsidised, effective immediately. This order ushers in a major aid especially to the people settled in the rural areas, who can now be ferried to proper health care centres at affordable rates.
