The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is all set to conduct countrywide selection trials of the Women's hockey team for National Centre Of Excellence (NCOE) this month. As per the report, the trial will be organised at Netaji Subhas Regional Centre, SAI in Lucknow on December 6 and 7, 2021. In line with the existing COVID scenario, a negative RT-PCR report, not older than 72 hours is mandatory to enter the premises. Girls aged between 14-18 can apply for the selection trial
As per the notification issued by the SAI, girls aged between 14 and 18 can apply for this selection process by registering on the link mentioned on their official website. However, girls aged not more than 20, who have won medals at national or international level can take part in these selection trials as well. While talking to Knocksense, the official of SAI, Lucknow said that preference will be given to state medalist and national level participants while state-level participation will also be considered for this selection trial.
