This one-of-a-kind movie has no parallels till this date but that could change with Kartik Aryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The 2007 classic is all set to get a remake and it seems that our wait is finally over, as the ‘Luka Chuppi’ star, Kartik Aaryan has begun shooting for the second installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa in Jaipur.

Actor Kartik Aaryan has begun the shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in our favorite city- Jaipur! The city which received the UNESCO ‘World Heritage Site’ tag only a few days back has been featured in several movies and it is no news that it is once again the location for an upcoming movie.
Yet, the fact that the movie being shot this time is the second instalment of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, has us jumping up and down with excitement. Kartik recently took to Instagram and shared a video where he is seen dressed in the iconic eccentric ‘Sadhu‘ garb from the original film. He can also be seen smiling the insanely toothy, Akshay special smile and humming the music from the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s title track.

The movie is being directed by Anees Bazmee and also stars Kiara Advani of ‘Kabir Singh’ fame.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the original version, was directed by Priyadarshan and released in 2007. An official remake of the 1993 Malayalam film “Manichitrathazhu”, it starred Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Asrani and Vikram Gokhale, among various others. Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan were nominated as best actors and actress at the IIFA awards for their iconic performance in the movie.

The shoot for the movie has begun in Jaipur which means you may be able to spot Kartik and Kiara in the city or even catch the shooting of the film. And if not, we can always revel after seeing familiar places and Jaipur vistas on the big screen.
