District Administration to soon start autism & disability drive in Indore

To spread awareness and identify issues pertaining to persons with autism, cerebral palsy, mental health issues and multiple disabilities, District Administration is all set to launch a disability drive in Indore. Post identification, the authorities will also provide legal guardianship to patients to help resolve the issues. 

This is a great initiative, as inclusive seminars are a great way to bring disability awareness into the everyday life of people of all ages

Workshops and a lot more at the upcoming awareness drive

As part of the drive, workshops will be hosted to discuss rights of disabled persons, generate awareness among parents/guardians and later they will be helped at rehabilitation centres. Further, their legal guardians will be appointed for care and attendance. 

Additionally, the identified persons will be helped to under Niramaya Insurance Scheme and district administration has agreed to pay premium for patients who cannot afford to finance themselves.
