The upcoming 2nd edition of the Shiv Gopal Memorial Cricket Tournament, organized by the Kanpur Cricket Association and Modern Cricket Club, is set to kick off on January 11, 2024. This competition exclusively invites teams registered with the C Division to take part. With the inaugural match set to be held at the Chandra Cricket Academy Ground in Manthana, the tournament spans at several grounds within the city.

Following the successful inaugural edition held in April 2023, which garnered enthusiastic participation from teams and spectators alike, the tournament aims to maintain its momentum. Notably, the previous edition saw the Sonnet Cricket Club emerge victorious.
