LMC implements new parking laws in Lucknow to make the city roads safe and free from parked vehicles

To honor Road Safety Month, DM Abhishek Prakash on Saturday in a meeting at Collectorate Auditorium announced that no car shall be allowed to park at any Nagar Nigam or LDA parking lots for more than 24 hours. Further, FIR shall be lodged against vehicle owners who are found liable.

A park-in-charge shall be levied to keep track of time. Lucknow Nagar Nigam has already identified 72 parking spaces, of these a list of 45 has been prepared where the project shall be initiated. Additional Features include verification drives, a new arrangement for separate parking based on the load.
