In response to the escalating temperatures and the associated risks of heatstroke, UPSRTC has initiated a proactive awareness campaign. A fleet of 10,000 public buses traversing Uttar Pradesh are now broadcasting messages advocating caution against heatstroke through their audio systems.

The campaign seeks to empower passengers with the knowledge to recognize early symptoms of heatstroke and adopt preventive measures. Key recommendations include staying hydrated and avoiding prolonged exposure to extreme heat.

Prior to this initiative, UPSRTC had already commenced airing advisories regarding heatstroke prevention at bus stands. Over the course of this week, they aim to extend the campaign to the remaining 289 bus stands across the state.
