Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

If you're in Goa and wanna check-list all the famous places this state has to offer, then Martin's Corner should not skip your attention. Martin's is an award-winning establishment, which has been around for over 30 years now and this 'corner', is hailed highly for its laid-back ambience and a bandwagon of cuisines which are gonna have you coming back for more.

What's Good?

Seated in a rustic Goan setting, about less than a kilometer away from the beach, Martin's was just a corner shop which was used by the locals for their game of carrom or occasionally, to indulge in a soft drink with friends. Later it was converted into a single seater joint which served dishes like sorpotel, Goan sausage bread and pork chilly fry dished out by the owners. Steadily it was then extended into a small eat-out and since then, truly this place has come a long way!

At present times, Martin's Corner is a multi-cuisine à la carte restaurant serving Goan, Indian, Tandoori, Continental, Oriental delicacies and is regarded amidst the best in Goa for their seafood specialities along with an impressive bar menu. When here, you've gotta try out their Pork Vindaloo, Chicken Xacuti, Pomfret Caldin, Pomfret Recheado and the Stuffed Crab! But if you're a purist and have no affinity towards exploring with your fare, then go for the safe tandoori options.

Martin's Corner now has the capacity to cater to over 300 patrons at a time and interestingly, it provides its visitors with ample parking space for about 60 cars. They have also started a family-run boutique resort called Martin's Comfort, which lets you "capture the friendly Goan atmosphere" in its sprawling premises!

Knock Knock

So when you find yourself on this side of the state, save up your appetite for this eatery and you'll be happily burping away with a smug smile on your face! Perfect for a dinner date with bae or a leisurely lunch with your squad, Martin's Corner can even effortlessly loop in the finickiest of all eaters. After this lockdown concludes, make sure to drop by here ASAP!
