Active covid cases in Indore reach 30; Residents advised to take necessary precautions

The changing weather is taking its toll on resident's health, and Covid cases in Indore have registered a fresh hike, taking the number of active cases to 30. As a result of the recent spike, health officials have advised residents of the city to wear masks in public places, maintain social distancing and take other necessary precautions.

To check whether any of the fresh covid cases in Indore are of the new variant, some test samples have been sent to Bhopal, while reports on the same are yet to return. Although any amount of rise in Covid infections is a cause of concern, health officials reassured that there is nothing to worry about as of now, with most new cases not needing to be hospitalized.
