Launched in 2019, Pataa is an Indore based digital addressing platform. It helps to create an accurate map of the commonly hard to find addresses in India. In the last four months, Pataa App has managed to digitise over 5 lakh addresses in Indore and pin-point their accurate locations using its block-based system.
Marking this accomplishment, Pataa App declared Smart City Indore as India’s First Digital Address City at the ‘Indore Gaurav Diwas’ event.

In October 2022, Pataa and the Indore administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and Indore has now managements to become the first digital address city in India. Moreover, in the future, all government entities of Indore including 311 emergency services such as police, banking, fire department, and ambulance will make use of the Pataa app.
To digitise your own address, all you’ve got to do is download the app and sign in. Once your address is uploaded and approved, users will be assigned a unique 8 to 11 character address, and can be shared without any hassle. This code will then lead users to the geo-tagged location.
Apart from Indore, the address app claims to have successfully crossed over 7 million downloads pan-India.
