IIT-Indore is already famed as an institute which believes in class-apart innovations and it is truly their time to be recognized as a potential leader in technological advancements. So to bolster the institute’s repute and career prospects of the students, the Department of Science and Technology has entitled them to a grant worth 100-Cr for the setting up a technology innovation hub.
TIH to focus on Cyber-Physical Systems
The much-awaited TIH will be set up on the basis of system simulation, modelling and the visualization facets of CPS (Cyber-Physical Systems). This body will assist research and developmental projects while working on the dimensions of extending the existing knowledge base. It will also support patenting, licensing and commercialisation, along with conducting hands-on training sessions, online courses and other continuous activities. The authorities will also be conducting webinars, seminars, workshops, events, conferences and so on.
This TIH of IIT-Indore will even succour the flagship ventures like Make in India, Skill India, Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Startup India and Atmanirbhar Bharat, belonging to the government of India.

This is indeed a proud moment for the IITians involved and for the city as a whole because this TIH will definitely bring in investments and further promote Indore as a rapidly growing space. This development will open doors further and we are truly keeping our fingers crossed for this one.
