Following suit of other cities like Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore, now Indore will have a door-to-door diesel delivery service in place. This facility has been put in action to ease out any such related woes amidst citizens and diesel can be ordered at places like home, school, office and so on through an app. This will also make urgent travels easier and save people from waiting in long queues.
Fully Computerized Delivery Vehicle
An initiative by the Ministry of Petroleum, on Friday HPCL launched the diesel delivery vehicle at Maheshwari Filling Station located in Mangalia Bypass. The vehicle was flagged off by HPCL’s DGM Retail Anil Akan and Engineering Manager Mukesh Prasad. This facility will also help machines to get a refill, which cannot come to the diesel pick-up pumps and institutes which carry diesel trough ken drums.
This delivery vehicle will be fully computerized and it has also been certified by the Government of India, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Ministry of Petroleum, Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization and Measurement Department. This vehicle will supply diesel in Indore and the city’s surrounding areas.

This is truly a moment of pride for Indoreans as this facility is still not enabled in other big cities. This service will now make life easier for daily commuters while saving them time. It’ll also be convenient for folks who usually had to take the opposite route towards the petrol pump, while on the way to their destination.
