Giving a boost to the education sector in Rajasthan, the Health Minister has announced that new colleges will be established in 6 districts, including Jaipur. The establishment of these colleges is expected to promote interests and employment opportunities in indigenous fields of Ayurveda and Yoga. Further, approval has also been given to create over 700 new academic and non-academic posts which will further assist in diversifying these fields.

As per the latest reports, the Rajasthan government has given the approval to establish Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy colleges. These integrated colleges will be situated in 6 districts- Jaipur, Kota, Sikar, Bikaner, Bharatpur and Udaipur. Further, the setting up of the Government College of Yoga and Naturopathy in Udaipur has already been sanctioned.
This decision of establishing higher education institutes for imparting the knowledge related to indigenous fields has come from the apex authorities of Rajasthan, on Wednesday. The state is making all possible efforts to promote and develop facilities related to Ayurveda whose importance has surfaced, again, during this ongoing pandemic.
Moreover, with new colleges and academic posts being established, 778 new academic and non-academic vacancies have been sanctioned by the state government. These steps taken will ensure that the educated youth with diversified areas of interest can choose jobs and pursue an interest that suits them best.
