In a bid to boost tourism across the nation, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) is initiating a Bharat Darshan special tourist train service. Labeled “Splendors of India”, the scheme entails a train journey along a route running through Hyderabad, Punjab, Jaipur and Gujarat. As per reports, this interesting service being offered by the national authority will be functional from 29 August to 9 September.

According to reports, a statement issued by the officials mentioned that the train would start its run from Maduria. On its way, the special locomotive would first pass through Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem, Katpadi and MGR Chennai Central. As per reports, the geographic itinerary of the train spreads across a vast area of the nation.
Tourists onboard will be able to explore the regal city of Hyderabad in Telangana which houses a string of museums. Further, the train would pass through Amritsar in Punjab which is famed across the world for a number of engrossing locations like Golden Temple and Jalian Wala Bagh Memorial.
On its route, the train would also cover Jaipur which is renownwed for its forts and temples. Besides, the marvelous state of Gujarat with the world’s tallest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is also a part of the train’s journey. As per reports, the tour stretching over a period of 12 days is available at a cost of more than ₹11.3k per person.
