IIT Kanpur, on Monday, revealed the official notification for the appointment of the Junior Assistant post. The registration portal for the same is already active and will shut down on November 9 (subject to further extension).
The vacancy consists of the appointment of a total of 119 Junior Assistants. Read on to know more about the registration procedure and eligibility.
Registration window to remain open till Nov 9
The registration window is only open till 5:00 PM, November 9, 2022, and the registration can only be completed online. The payment gateway offers online payment via Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking and E Challan. The posted job vacancy is part of IIT Kanpur’s Staff Recruitment drive for 2022.
Candidates belonging to OBC/EWS/GEN category will have to pay the application fee of ₹700. Application for candidates from SC/ST/PwD category and the female candidates free of cost.
The selection procedure consists of a written test, a job-oriented practical test and an interview. Apart from this, other modes of selection will also be applied as per the rules.
Eligibility criteria and steps to apply
A candidate must be between the age of 21 to 30 years with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 50% marks, appropriate knowledge of computer applications and 2 years of relevant experience in handling establishment matters/R&D/Legal/Purchase and Import/Accounts/Audit/Hospitality, etc.
