With summer vacations in full swing and temperature soaring, a trip to a hill station sounds like a welcome escape, but planning can of course, be a hassle. To make things easier, IRCTC has launched a special air tour package “Dashing Darjeeling and Gangtok”, bookings of which are now open. With a maximum group size of 30, the tour will depart thrice this month from Lucknow on June 16, 20 and 22.
Scenic sights on the itinerary
The five-night and six-day tour includes both spiritual stops and cultural landmarks. Nature lovers can look forward to Tsomgo Lake, Tashi View Point, Durpin Dara Hills, Pine View Flower Nursery, and tea gardens. For a spiritual experience, the tour includes a visit to Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastery, Ghoom Monastery, Japanese Temple and Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial.
Flight from Lucknow, stay in 3-star hotels
Travellers will take flights between Lucknow and Bagdogra. The all-inclusive package covers air travel, accommodation in three-star hotels, and meals. The package options are as follows:
