Bhootnath will soon become a no vehicle zone and a plastic free campus. There will also be an underground e-parking for the shoppers.
There is going to be a change in the way the market looks, as all the shops will soon share nameplates painted in one colour and their names will be painted in similar size font.
Lucknow Municipal Corporation will install benches on the footpath for the comfort of the people. Wheelchairs will also be available for people who need them. There will be new toilets for both men and women, and regular cleaning and maintenance of toilets, sewers, drains will be ensured by the LMC too.
LED lights will give the market a new shine and the waste compactor machine will help dispose the waste on a daily basis, which will help the market to look clean and beautiful.
The work will begin from the first week of August and will take about 3-4 months for completion.
