Oxygen plants set up across 20 hospitals in Indore to fight the expected third wave

In view of the gruesome oxygen supply issues witnessed during the second wave of the pandemic, the authorities in Indore have amplified efforts to make the city self-sufficient. As per reports, oxygen plants have been installed across 20 hospitals in the city in an attempt to battle against the anticipated third wave of the virus. Reportedly, the medical facilities have now got an aggregated supply of more than 60 tonnes of oxygen with the launch of the systems.

Indore's Super Speciality Hospital to offer services across different departments from October!

Claimed to be Madhya Pradesh's biggest centre, this Super Specialty Hospital in Indore will provide facilities across a range of medical departments from October onwards. As per reports, the 10-floored hospital will have nearly 400 beds and it already stands equipped with treatment units for a range of ailments, ICUs, ventilators and other machines. Reportedly, it is expected that the current plans would materialise by October if the third wave doesn't hamper the program.

​Upcoming 300-bed hospital in Indore's Nanda Nagar to bridge the need for affordable treatment​

The second wave of coronavirus exposed the need to aggregate more hospital beds, oxygen supplies and other treatment facilities in Indore and across. As such, the district administration on Wednesday conducted the foundation laying ceremony (bhumi pujan) for a 300-bed centre in the Nanda Nagar region. Reportedly, this provision will be based on the ESI model and will cater affordable treatment to the working class.

Indore's new high-tech 6,200-bed COVID facility touted to be the second-largest in India!

Indore has now established a high-tech COVID care centre, in wake of the soaring rise of infections in the city and the state, at large. Pegged to be the second-largest treatment facility in the country, this centre currently houses 600 beds that can be raised over ten times, to 6,200, if needed. This makeshift amenity expands over 45 acres of land at the Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan and will cater to asymptomatic patients, on the recommendation of the Rapid Response Team.
