UP Schools reopen today for 6-8 graders after a 6-month hiatus!

In view of the controlled pandemic situation in Uttar Pradesh, offline school classes have reopened for students of grades 6 to 8 from today onwards. Almost 6 months after the schools were shut owing to the second wave of the pandemic, offline classes will now be conducted amid all safety protocols and precautionary measures. Notably, the state administration allowed schools to open their gates for the student of standards 9 to 12 on August 16.

Schools in Lucknow, Kanpur & other UP districts to reopen at 50% attendance from August 16

Amid the bettering scope of the COVID graph in Uttar Pradesh, the state administration has decided to re-open schools, in line with pandemic preventive protocols from August 16. Reportedly, only 50% attendance will be allowed in all district schools to respect the norms of social distancing within campuses. It will be mandatory for all attendees, including students, teachers and staff to wear masks and strictly adhere to the guidelines for maximum safety against the coronavirus.

UP schools reopen today for on-campus administrative works after almost 100 days of closure

As the second wave of the pandemic is retiring gradually in Uttar Pradesh, schools registered under Basic Education Council have revived operations from today, for administrative purposes. As per reports, schools for grades 1 to 8 are being opened for teachers and other school staff, including the employees linked to the Shikshmitra scheme. It is noteworthy that the gates of these educational institutions will remain to be closed for pupils and online classes shall be continue for them.

Schools in Lucknow to reopen from October 19 for classes 9-12th only

After a long gap of almost seven months, schools in Lucknow are all set to reopen. The Uttar Pradesh government has conditionally permitted the reopening of schools from October 19, for classes 9th to 12th only. These classes will be held under the advisory of the Centre's Home Ministry and the guidelines of the UP government. Students in 8th and below, will still have to stay home and attend classes online, until further notice.
