Indore in the state of Madhya Pradesh, is the worst-hit district in regards to the coronavirus. The city has reported over 300 new COVID-19 victims on Thursday which has taken the total number of cases to 15,764 and the death toll as of today, is marked at 438. This has pushed the state’s confirmed corona cases to 81,379 and as a whole,1,661 fatalities have been observed.
10,949 recovered patients in Indore
Most businesses in the city have decided to pull down their shutters after 7 PM, in the wake of the steady rising of the cases. According to reports, Vijay Nagar is the most heavily corona impacted area in Indore and there are also new sites which have been freshly infected by this deadly disease. Shikhar Nagar, Azanda Village, Samyak Park, BOI State House Nipaniya, Prime Park Colony, Jawahar Colony, Jagannath Colony, Vastu City and Divine Green, are some of the names in the list. Indore had also been conducting rapid antigen tests, to investigate cases in the city and previously, the authorities had also conducted sero-surveillance survey here, for a week.
