Started as a small tea outlet in Indore, back in 2016, ‘Chai Sutta Bar’ is a multi-national brand today. With a turnover of over 100 crores at present, this business venture by the trio- Anubhav, Rahul and Anand, is now expanding its footsteps across the globe. Spread over 70 cities in India, Oman and The United Arab Emirates, the brand has over 165 outlets operational currently.

Like most other Indian families, Anubhav’s parents too, wanted him to prepare for UPSC. Little did they know that this preparation would eventually inspire Anubhav to start a business venture. Inspired by the social initiatives that he used to study and his school-time side hustle of selling second-hand phones with his friends, Anubhav got the idea for this business.
The startup genius opened the first outlet of Chai Sutta Bar at Bhanwarkuan in Indore, with his friends Anand and Rahul. It was only after they had opened the third outlet in the city, that Anubhav’s parents found out about his venture. After witnessing the success of the brand, his parents turned supportive towards the startup.
‘Cuddle the Kulhad’

This local-turned-global venture puts its best foot forward by providing quality taste while being light on the pockets. The startup also puts in efforts to being eco-friendly as well, by using traditional kulhads instead of plastic cups. About 3 lakh kulhads are used on a daily basis, to serve tea at all the CSB outlets.
The kulhad, besides serving flavourful chai, has also been providing employment opportunities to the people of the country, thereby, boosting direct and indirect employment. The startup is known to employ orphans and specially-abled people as well.

If you are a coffee lover, you don’t have to be disheartened! This place serves a range of caffeine options like Hot Coffee, Cold Coffee, Black Coffee, Chocolate Coffee and a lot more. It also lays out 7 different flavours of tea as well, including chocolate, adrak, rose, elaichi, paan, kesar, masala and tulsi, for just ₹10 each!
BTW, unlike other tea stalls, CSB also provides snacks like Cheese and Corn Maggi, Maska Bun, Loaded Fries and so on, which ensures that your hunger pangs alongside your thirst for tea, are met in delicious ways.
Knock Knock
With 13 functional outlets in Indore presently and plans on setting up franchises in Canada and England underway, further expansion of the brand is expected soon. Also, contrary to its name, the Chai ‘Sutta’ Bar has a ‘no smoking’ policy!
