After winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 5, Abhishek Walia has made it to the hearts of young people across the country. A University of Delhi Alumnus with a history of working as an analyst and a trained anchor too, Abhishek has worked in a lot of fields before finally realising what his calling was. Having garnered millions of views on his roast acts available online, the artist shines bright in the Indian comedy circle.

Coming up in Mumbai, India's longest suspension bridge to connect BKC to Dharavi

The development authority has placed this project under the Green Mission, as it will cut down on vehicular emissions, effectively.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has started to table the tender for India's longest suspension bridge. Stretching for about 550 meters, this bridge will link City Park at BKC to Maharashtra Nature Park in Dharavi, benefitting about 40,000 commuters annually. Presently, people cover this distance by roadways which congests roads and causes inconvenience in the form of intense traffic jams. These automobile landlocks further add to Mumbai's carbon footprint each day.

'Shakti' to women, more than 40,000 upper primary schools in UP to train girls in self-defence

The programme, initiated under UP's Mission Shakti campaign, aims to empower & uplift women.

Under the Mission Shakti campaign, girls students at more than 40,000 upper primary schools in UP will now be trained in the art of self-defence. The special training will be given to the girls of classes 6 to 8 for a period of one month, i.e., from 1st to 31st March. The initiative aims at helping young girls become self-dependent, physically and mentally.
