In a bid to propel the state’s travel and tourism industry, Rajasthan’s Department of Tourism has partnered with Incredible India, the Official Tourism handle of the Government of India. With this collaboration, the state government envisions attracting domestic tourists to the state, to boost the state’s economy. A land of exceptional culture and heritage, the desert state regularly witnesses humongous tourist footfalls but the pandemic ushered significant problems for this sector.
Aim to reach out to the maximum possible target group
Through this first of its kind partnership, the state will attempt to garner attention from the maximum possible target group. While the main objective of this project is to accelerate domestic tourism, it will be conducive to bringing all kinds of tourists to the territory. Nishant Jain, IAS, Director, Rajasthan Tourism said, “Rajasthan Tourism always looks forward to taking many more initiatives apart from such collaborations to promote tourism in the state.”
A move to direct attention towards the vibrant culture of the state
Under this scheme, Incredible India came up with the first collaborative post on September 3, 2021. Through this mention, the enthralling locations of the royal state of Rajasthan were brought into the limelight. Majorly, the post highlighted the monsoon destinations of South Rajasthan, like Udaipur, Banswara, Mount Abu amongst other things.
Further, the posts under this partnership will revolve around the hidden gems of Rajasthan, they will focus on the spiritual journeys/circuits, Rajasthani cuisine, Rajasthani dance forms amongst other things. Showcasing the vibrant culture of the state, the endeavour will try to drive the tourists’ interests.
