​Lowest tally in 57 days, Lucknow records 275 fresh COVID cases on Tuesday

Reporting about 275 new cases on Tuesday, the city of Lucknow clocked its lowest infection tallies in about two months. Pairing this with the daily negative number of active cases and around 497 recoveries, the health situation in the city is well on its way to attaining stability and recovery in terms of the global pandemic.

Though the capital continues to be a virus hot spot in Uttar Pradesh, recording the highest state tallies, the recent fall in the number of both, active and fresh cases along with a lowered virus growth rate, the city of Lucknow is well on its way to recovery. Capturing the new admissions to its lowest numbers in 57 days with a negative active case count of 228 and about 494 recoveries in a single day, the ferocity of the coronavirus took a subdued turn on Tuesday in the city.

Besides these substantive counts and statistics, the overall rate of virus growth has also been arrested at around 0.7%. This is further suggestive of diminished transmission and viral rate of the deadly infection in the city. Acquitting the credit to the state and city's par excellence testing services and carefully drafted control protocols, the feral virus is projecting downward trends, promising better health to the city and its people.

Lucknow total tally stands at #1 position in the state for the most number of cases at 58,330, the highest number of recoveries at 52,947 and maximum fatalities with 790 deaths.
