In a bid to improve upon the traffic conditions across the city, Mumbai’s BEST has now announced that they will offer normal and valet parking facilities at all the BEST bus depots.
With the addition of 27 more parking spaces across the city, the lack of proper parking spaces and overpriced parking spaces will be acknowledged, and dealt with.
Affordable rates and varied services
The new parking service began from August 7, celebrating the BEST foundation day and 75 years of Municipalisation. Reportedly, the parking service will be available for private as well as commercial vehicles and will also offer services like monthly parking and overnight parking at affordable rates.
However, valet parking service will only be available at the Colaba, Mumbai Central, Worli, Dindoshi and Bandra bus depots. On the other hand, normal self-parking will be available for all the 27 BEST bus depots.
Reportedly, the cost of daily parking will range from ₹20 to ₹215 and for valet parking, the cost has been set at ₹100 for 2 hours. Additionally, commuters can also book a parking spot, via a mobile-app-based booking service. The service will be available 24 hours prior to your desired booking time.
