With this collaboration, the state government envisions attracting domestic tourists to the state, to boost the state's economy. New highway project to reduce travel time between Jaipur & Delhi to 90 minutes!

In a bid to enhance the road network between Delhi and Jaipur, the central authorities are working on a string of interventions. As per reports, the Union Transport Minister recently claimed that the travel time between the two cities will be reduced to 90 minutes with the ongoing highway development project. Additionally, he also affirmed that the journeys from Delhi to Chandigarh, Haridwar and Dehradun would be covered in a period of 2 hours, once the work is completed.

Jaipur reports 4 out of 11 Kappa variant cases detected in Rajasthan

Sounding alarms across the state, 11 cases of the new COVID mutant, Kappa have been detected in Rajasthan. Informing about this, the state health minister apprised that Jaipur and Alwar have 4 cases each of the new variant. Additionally, 2 new Kappa cases have been reported from Barmer while Alwar recorded one such case. Amid the relaxing restrictions in the state and the capital city, the latest development calls for amplified caution against the pandemic.
