Walk-in vaccination system implemented across Lucknow!

Augmenting the ongoing vaccination drive in the city, the District Magistrate of Lucknow has now scraped the mandatory registration required before taking the vaccine against COVID. With the implementation of the walk-in vaccination system, the residents of Lucknow can now directly head to the vaccination centres and take the first or second jab without having to make a prior booking. The decision to do away with this prerequisite registration was taken by the DM in a meeting on Friday.

Over 1 lakh people vaccinated in Lucknow on Monday!

With more than 31.67 lakh vaccine doses administered on Monday, the vaccination tally of Uttar Pradesh surpassed the 8 crore mark, making it the state with the highest count of inoculations. Amongst the leading districts, the state capital Lucknow broke all previous records, logging over 1.03 vaccinations in a single day, on Monday. Notably, Lucknow is the first district in the territory to register a total figure of more than 1 lakh immunisations in a single day.

Over one lakh individuals to be inoculated in Lucknow today!

Propelling a massive boost for the inoculation program in Lucknow, the city authorities have planned to vaccinate over one lakh individuals through large-scale drives today. If the plans materialise, this will be the largest count of beneficiaries to receive the vaccine jabs on a single day. As of now, the highest number of inoculations, standing at 93,436, have been recorded in the city on August 27.

Saturday weekend curfew eased in Lucknow, Kanpur & other UP districts

In a new set of guidelines issued by the state administration on Wednesday, the weekend lockdown in Uttar Pradesh has been relaxed. As per the new directives, curfew will only be applicable on Sundays and public movement will be allowed on Saturdays. All businesses in UP are now permitted to operate from 6 AM to 10 PM (Monday-Saturday), in line with the pandemic safety protocols.

Nearly 75 thousand beneficiaries to be inoculated in Lucknow on Tuesday!

Attempting to set a new record, the immunisation officials in Lucknow have planned to conduct 75,000 vaccinations in a single day, on Tuesday. While the current record stands close to 25K, the expected milestone would help in fuelling the city's inoculation program further. Under this special drive tomorrow, focused camps will be organised in housing societies, apartments, residential colonies, government and private offices, markets and places of worship to accomplish the goal.
