Indore is often counted amongst big cities these days. The town is growing at a phenomenal rate and in just the past few months, the Indore airport has got all the makings of an international one. Recently, the first international flight took off from the city and marked a milestone achievement. Following that, there will be three new direct flights from Indore to Jaipur, Shirdi and Lucknow. Read on to know more about these flights.

The three new flights from Indore will allow for much easier commutes between these two cities. Already, business owners in Indore have to travel to these places to expand their markets. With the addition of these three new flights, business will certainly boom in Indore.
As of now, two private airlines have been given slots to ply their aircrafts back and forth between Indore and the other cities. Flights from Indore to Shirdi and Indore to Jaipur will be undertaken by Indigo Airlines, while GoAir will be responsible for the flight from Indore to Lucknow. In addition to these new direct flights, there will be a new direct flight to Delhi as well, which will be headed by Vistara Airlines.
These flights are not expected to be functional before October this year but a proposed time sheet has already been given to the authorities for approval. The flight to Shirdi is expected to take off at 11:15 AM. As for the flight to Lucknow, that will be available six days a week. These flights to Lucknow will take off at 5:25 PM, and should take about an hour and a half to get you there.
The other Indigo Airlines flight- from Indore to Jaipur, is set to hit the air as early as 9:20 AM, so be sure to catch up on loads of sleep. However, do keep in mind that these timings are subject to change as they are just proposals. At any rate, we’ll have to wait till October this year to actually make use of these flights.
