Knocksense Shorts | 2nd set of Indore Metro coaches expected to reach the city by December

To provide seamless commute to people, Indore Metro designed by Rohit Associates Cities and Rails Private Limited is currently underway in the city. As per latest update, second set of Indore Metro trains are currently being assembled in Vododara and will be ready in a month and half. They are expected to arrive in Indore by December, said reports. The contract for manufacturing these coaches has been assigned to Alstom Company.

Post trial run, Indore Metro's commercial operations are estimated to commence between May and June 2024. Once operational, the Indore metro line will operate across 31.5 kilometres, covering 29 stations on its path.
