In a move to ease traffic movements across the Pink City, the Jaipur Development Authority has decided to establish wider roads at prominent locations in the city. As per reports, the construction of five 200-feet long roads will be started soon, in a bid to alleviate the traffic issues on branching roads, the Gopalpura bypass, New Sanganer and Ajmer Road. Reportedly, JDA has stepped ahead with the plans by spotting the landowners whose possessions will be acquired for road construction.
Areas in Prithvi Raj Nagar Scheme to be advantaged with improved network
With the operational launch of the upcoming facilities, citizens from over a hundred residential colonies will be benefitted. Reportedly, one of the proposed roads called Vande Mataram Marg will be set up between Gopalpura Bypass and Diggi Malpura Road. It is expected that this road will ease travel to the Kalyanpura railway overbridge, helping residents from nearly 50 to 60 colonies.
Amplified road infrastructure to usher ease of commute in the city
As per reports, JDA has resolved to establish the second facility parallel to the Vande Mataram Marg. This road will connect JDA’s West Way Height scheme on Ajmer Road and Diggi Malpura Road, ushering ease of commute for residents of around 40 colonies.
Besides this, the third road will act as a linking facility between the first and the second road, passing through the Journalist Colony. Additionally, it has been reported that the fourth and fifth roads will also connect the first and second roads at different points. Given the long list of slated interventions, residents in Jaipur will soon get better and easier alternatives for travel.
