A unique initiative, the Rural Immersion Programme (RIP) instituted by IIM Indore with an objective to sensitize young entrepreneurs about the intricacies of rural India and to make them aware of various government initiatives.
IIM Indore puts a special emphasis on social sensitivity and the connection between the students and their rural roots. The programme requires students to spend a few days in the rural parts of Madhya Pradesh and other parts of rural India.

IIM Indore’s Student Exchange programme was initiated with the aim to provide an enriching experience to the incoming students. The programme also offers a chance to its student community to witness the fresh ideas from the foreign students.
IIM Indore claims to run the 3rd largest student exchange programme among all the IIMs. It also happens to be the 4th largest student exchange programme among all top B-schools in the country.
