Curfew eases in Lucknow, Kanpur & other UP districts today; Check detailed guidelines here

In view of the bettering conditions of the COVID pandemic, all districts in UP have been granted graded relief, effective from today; June 21. The 'unlock' decision has been enforced by the authority of a circular, issued by the Chief Secretary of State late on Saturday evening. These relaxations will cut short on the night curfew timings and ease the operations of restaurants, street food shops, parks, with some restrictions.

Primary Schools in UP to provide covid vaccine to pupils & more upon their return on March 1

After the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh ordered the reopening of schools for classes 1 to 5, the Basic Education Department has directed all schools to revamp their environment in a manner that will encourage students to return to classes. Over 1.83 crore students studying in 1.5 lakh schools will see their institutions ornamented with colourful paintings and meaningful slogans when they rejoin classes on March 1.

Offline classes to run in a single shift for classes 9-12 in Lucknow & other UP districts

Schools across UP have been shut since the outbreak of the pandemic, just like in the other states but now to bring back normalcy in routines, the state government has taken a decision to resume offline learning for classes 9-12. All the schools, irrespective of their educational boards, have been mandated to run in a single shift and the timings have been marked from 10 AM to 3 PM. An order to this effect was issued on Monday night.

Schools in Lucknow to reopen from October 15, for classes 10th & 12th

The schools in India shut down their premises back in mid-March pertaining to the ongoing pandemic and now after over 6 months, the Education Ministry on the 5th of October, has issued guidelines for their reopening. The Union government has permitted the resumption of classes in schools, in a phased manner after the 15th of October. Initially, 10th and 12th standard students in Lucknow will return back to schools and later, the classes 9 and 11 will be permitted to do so.
