Star productions like Ek aur Dronacharya, Mohan Se Mahatma, Flirt, Purush and Gagan Damama Bajyo were performed during the festival, providing quality entertainment to people. This has also boosted cultural activities in the city which were on a low since the last 6 months given the constant fear of the spread of Coronavirus.
Theatre enthusiasts from all over the city can now tune into online streaming of these plays, without worrying about the availability of tickets! The festival organised in the city were free of cost, but theatre artists believe that if quality and variety are made available to the audiences, they won’t mind paying for the shows, and these earnings can be then invested in creating better and bigger productions.
The heightened response to digital plays have lead the actors to believe that they can target a larger audience by means of going digital, as the number of people tuning into digital screenings was way over than the live audience count.
