The sudden rise in the coronavirus positive cases in Lucknow, has led to the need for more care centres and facilities for the patients. With over 450 cases reported in the last 48 hours, Uttar Pradesh’s Principal Health Secretary has decided to convert Lucknow’s Anandi Water Park into a Covid care centre. The facility will house the asymptomatic coronavirus positive patients, below the age of 65 years only.
Quarantine in Amusement Park
Anandi Water Park is the most popular and visited water amusement park in Lucknow that houses a club and resort facility to host guests as well. About 120 rooms of the Anandi Water Park have been converted into a L1 Level Covid care centre for asymptomatic patients. The patients admitted here will have to bear the treatment charges on their own, however, the prices of the resort rooms have been regulated by the State Government for the convenience of the patients. The four star facility will be charging around Rs 1800 to Rs 2000 per day which is otherwise marked at Rs 5500.
