Launched in 2022 around World Diabetes Day (November 14), the Walkathon initially focused on diabetes awareness. Now, the event emphasizes the broad health benefits of walking, with the fitting tagline, ‘Aao chalen, madhumeh se laden, swasth rahen’ (Let’s walk to fight diabetes and stay healthy).
This year, Apollomedics has collaborated with Decathlon, as their sports partner to make the event even more engaging. Starting at 6 am from Apollomedics Hospital on Kanpur Road, participants can enjoy a Zumba session and a fun warm-up activity. At 7 AM, the 2 km walkathon will kick off, that’ll be led by vintage cars for added flair!

Joining the ‘Aao Chalen 3.0‘ Walkathon is a great opportunity to boost your health; and the best part? It’s free of cost! All you need to do is download the Decathlon Play app, simply register by filling in basic details and then grab your entry pass from any Decathlon store (LuLu Mall or Vibhuti Khand).
Following the “Aao Chalein” walkathon, an exciting vintage car rally will be organized by the Oudh Heritage Car Club. Set to feature 8-10 classic cars, this rally will bring the tagline “Preserving Health and Heritage” to life, blending wellness with cultural pride. Participants and spectators alike will get to enjoy the timeless charm of these vintage vehicles, creating a perfect conclusion to the walkathon event.
