The food scene in Kanpur is pretty great as of now, we have a ton of new restaurants opening here and all of them offer a plethora of different things. Yet, when it comes to something we can have everyday, Indian food will have to take the cake.
Who can ever get bored of the soft yet crispy rotis, the thick curries, the spices, the aroma and the indulgent richness of Indian food? Our love for desi grub will always surpass that for any other cuisine.

What the vibe says
The restaurant, albeit small, is quite clean, open and has an extremely comfortable vibe.
If you’re expecting great things from the interiors, you will be underwhelmed. But, let’s be honest, do we even care that much about how “quirky” or “chic” a place is, as long as they serve us a great grub?

Food for the soul
Mannay’s Grill and Gravy is here to make way to your heart with their food. They serve the choicest, most lovingly prepared Indian dishes for their patrons and it shows in the quality of food they serve.
We tried the restaurant’s best seller, Murg lehsuni tikka, as well as chicken masala gravy, kadhai paneer, bun keema and plain naan. We have to say the murg lehsuni tikka is a dish you have to try for yourself; the chicken is perfectly grilled, the marinate aromatic and the roasted garlicy-buttery delight is arguably the best way to have a succulent chicken.

The vegetarian grub is pretty great too. We loved the spicy gravy of kadhai paneer – it struck a perfect balance with creamy-soft paneer pieces, while the chicken masala gravy was another banger!
Do try the dahi ke bebab, the shami kebabs, the mutton rogan josh, butter panner and a ton of other things they offer on the menu.

If you’re looking for some good food, Mannay’s Grill and Gravy is the place for you to be at. The interiors here are quite simple but you’ll get a plethora of amazing Indian dishes to pick from. The food they serve is some of the best you’ll find in the city. And the best part? This place is super pocket friendly, so you can binge eat, worry-free!
