In its attempt to promote art and culture in the city, Cafe Frangipani is all set to organise a melodious evening with a Mohan Veena performance on September 23, i.e. Saturday. Frangipani is pleased to announce its collaboration with Zubaan and host Raghavendra & Ankit from Varanasi, who are professional artistes with a rich musical background.

Raghvendra Kumar Narain has been learning Mohan Veena from the age of 10 from his guru Dr. Sanjay Verma. He’s also a post graduate in Sitar from Banaras Hindu University. He’s performed in many music festivals in Varanasi and outside, including the Ganga Mahotsav, Subah-e-Banaras, the International Inter-disciplinary workshop by the Lions Club, Varanasi and Shaam-e-Awadh. He has received awards like the silver medal from Sangeet Natak Academy and the Pandit Omkar Nath Thakur Award. He’s also been awarded the HRD Scholarship by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.
