The monsoon session of the UP assembly has begun, and will go on till August 11. Due to this session, traffic restrictions have been put in place in Hazratganj/Vidhan Sabha area from 7 AM until the conclusion of the day’s proceedings.
Along with this, strict security measures will be implemented around Vidhan Bhavan and Lok Bhavan of Lucknow.
Here’s a list of traffic restrictions and alternate routes

Traffic movement will remain restricted between Bandariya Bagh towards Raj Bhawan and Hazratganj. These vehicles will be diverted towards Loreto Girls College and 1090 crossing.

Traffic movement will remain restricted between DSO crossing towards Hazratganj and GPO park. These vehicles will move towards park road and Mayfair trisection.

Traffic movement will remain restricted between Bapu Bhawan crossing to Hazratganj. Instead, these vehicles will move towards Kaiserbagh, Parivartan Chowk and Burlington Crossing.

Heavy vehicles and city buses which ply between Sankalp Vatika Bridge towards Hazratganj. These buses will instead move towards Baikunth Dham and 1090 crossing.

City buses will not be allowed to move from KKC towards the Vidhan Bhawan route. Instead, these will move towards Loco Crossing and Kaiserbagh.

Traffic restrictions will be in place between Sikandrabagh and Hazratganj route. These vehicles can instead move using the Lohia Path to reach their desired destination.

Vehicles moving from Parivartan Chowk towards Hazratganj crossing will be diverted towards Hazratganj.
