Our Take!
The food and drinks which we wolfed down is definitely going to act as a crowd puller once this restro opens up its gates to the citizens!
Hands down, The Drowning Street is going to be one of the best places in Lucknow for white sauce pasta! The gooey-cheesy-oozy texture of the perfectly cooked pasta actually touched the Italians chords in our hearts, which we didn’t even know existed.
The arancini balls were made with arborio rice and corn which gave it a crunch teamed with a gooey texture and is best as a snack! The Zaatar Fish Fingers were served with mustard hummus and it can be given a try if you’re into sea-food! Their menu also boasted of laal maas which was drool-worthy and it actually hit us spot-on!
The cotton-candy freak-shake was fused with mint, candy, gems, dark chocolate and squishy marshmallows which gave us a taste of Disneyland on our palates- oh, it had choco sticks as garnishing as well! We’d highly recommend the hot and spicy mocktail where guava was the protagonist sprinkled with just enough spices to make our tongues tingle.
TDS has also managed to grab our attention with their sheesha menu- you can’t even imagine what they have managed to bring to the table (quite literally)! Their sheesha has been specially imported from Dubai and we tried it out to find out what’s new.
Turns out, that the mouth-piece attached to the hose of the sheesha has ice in it which filters the smoke further and the drag you take, becomes smooth AF! The smoke that you release is also thicker than usual and it doesn’t irritate your throat.
A sliver of Dubai’s lifestyle is now at the city of the Nawabs- how uber-cool is that?!
The Drowning Street is set to give a tough competition to others around because it has introduced elements which are exclusive and it packs a hefty punch to the dining scenes in Lucknow!
This is a perfect hub for a date or for a fam-jam for a weekend brunch and it is not going to be light on the pockets- rightfully so!
Their inauguration has been set on the 23rd of February so quickly make plans to visit this newbie in town!
