Goa restarts tourism activities; casinos, spas & nightclubs allowed to open at 50% capacity

Good news travellers, the state of Goa has revived its tourism activities and has opened its borders for movement once again. As per reports, all casinos, spas and nightclubs have been allowed to function at 50% capacity from today onwards. Only those who produce a negative COVID-19 test report or are fully vaccinated will be permitted to enjoy these provisions. The government is said to soon issue the Standard Operating Procedure ( SOPs) for the same.

Bars & restaurants in Goa to function at 50% capacity from today onwards

As the pandemic loosens its grip over the sunshine state, the Goa government is stepping forward with amplified relaxations. After a long period of closure, restaurants and bars across the territory have been permitted to resume operations at 50% of their seating capacity, from today onwards. Though the statewide curfew stands extended till July 12, the administration has also allowed sports complexes, outdoor stadiums and salons to reopen from today.

With the contracting infection tallies in Goa, the state government is moving ahead with the unlock interventions. As per the latest developments, the Chief Minister of the coastal state apprised that the administration is deliberating upon the revival of restaurants at 50% capacity from July 5 onwards. In addition to this, the government has also declared that saloons may open in the state from the same date, tweaking the ongoing curfew protocol.
