11 commercial hubs to be set up along the upcoming green corridor in Lucknow!

In a bid to strengthen urban infrastructure in the city, the Lucknow Development Authority has proposed to set up 11 commercial hubs along both sides of the upcoming green corridor. As per reports, the four-lane road will be established between IIM Road and Kisan Path, with an objective to boost connectivity across the entire length of the district. Reportedly, the corridor will alleviate the traffic situation in the city and reduce the time span of an hour-long journey to 15 minutes.

Lucknow Municipal Corporation to undertake beautification projects for 706 parks in the city!

In an attempt to uplift the aesthetic appeal of the city's landscape, Lucknow Municipal Corporation has decided to roll out a string of interventions. As per the plans, an expenditure of ₹34.57 crores will be incurred for upgrading and revamping the environs of 706 parks in Lucknow. In addition to this, ₹15 crores will be spent on establishing green corridors across 5 markets in the city including Aminabad, Yehiyaganj, Chowk, Bhootnath and Alambagh.

Upcoming 'Green Corridor' to resolve traffic woes across Lucknow

In an attempt to ease the intra-city travel for the residents, Lucknow is all set to witness the establishment of the newly proposed 'Green Corridor'. Slated to start construction works in October, the upcoming facility will stretch over 27 kilometres connecting Gomti Nagar and Gomti Nagar Extension. As per the current plans, this road will pass through Hardoi Road, Sitapur Road, Old Lucknow, Khadra, Parivartan Chowk, Paper Mill Colony.

Lucknow to get a 'Green Corridor' worth ₹2087 crores to boost connectivity

The Lucknow Development Authority has floated a proposal to bridge distances in Lucknow via a green corridor. As per the proposal, this 20-km long route will connect the two end of River Gomti in the city. Roping in the authority of Avas Vikas Parishad, the city's development agency has forwarded the idea to establish a four-laned road here.
