Night curfew timings reduced to 11 PM-6 AM in Lucknow & other UP districts!

With the dwindling count of cases in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government has reduced the night curfew timings from 11 PM to 6 AM. Earlier, the night curfew was operational on all days from 10 PM to 6 AM across Lucknow, Kanpur and all districts of the territory. Through the latest orders, the state administration has offered an additional relaxation of an hour. On Monday, one new infection was recorded in Lucknow while a total of 3 recoveries were marked.

Relaxed night curfew to stretch from 10 PM to 6 AM in Lucknow, Kanpur & other UP districts

In yet another relaxation of COVID norms, the state of Uttar Pradesh has eased the curfew hours here. As per reports, the prohibition has been shortened by an hour across Lucknow and all other districts and will now stretch from 10 PM to 6 AM. Earlier, curfew hours were marked from 9 PM to 6 AM.

Night curfew from 8 PM to 7 AM in Lucknow, Kanpur & 8 other Uttar Pradesh districts

Alarmed by the rising COVID cases in different parts of Uttar Pradesh, the state government has extended the night curfew from 8 PM to 7 AM in 10 of its 75 districts. As per the announcement, the extended period of curfew restrictions shall be observed in Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Gorakhpur and other such districts, which have more than 2,000 active COVID patients.

Night curfew imposed in Lucknow; movement restricted from 9 PM to 6 AM

Due to the rampant rise of COVID-19 in Lucknow, the Police Commissioner of Lucknow DK Thakur has imposed a week-long night curfew here, effective immediately. As per orders, movement will be restricted from 9 PM to 6 AM and all schools and colleges will remain closed in Lucknow till April 15, 2021. On Wednesday, about 1,333 fresh cases were traced here, which have raised the active tally in the state capital to 8852 cases.

At the state level, about 6023 new cases were reported in Uttar Pradesh.
