Here are the new guidelines for international passengers traveling to Mumbai

International commuters from a list of selected countries arriving at the Mumbai airport will have to undergo a mandatory RT-PCR test from September 3, as per new orders by BMC. These passengers will have to pay ₹600 for the test upon arrival at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The order was issued by BMC, based on the guidelines provided by the Government of India for international passengers. The detection of a highly infectious new COVID strain C.1.2, has led to this change in the new guidelines.

International flyers landing in Mumbai exempted from quarantine if fully vaccinated!

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has cancelled a total of 6 flights to eastern India to avert the fury of Cyclone Yass. As per reports, the 'very severe cyclonic storm' made a landfall in Odisha at 9:15 AM on Wednesday, bringing heavy rains and ferocious winds in its wake. Consequently, the airport authorities have cancelled 3 inbound and 3 outgoing flights between Mumbai, Bhubaneshwar and Kolkata today.

Mumbai Airport to remain shut today from 11 AM to 2 PM to mitigate the effects of Cyclone Tauktae

Mumbai's CSMIA to operate all domestic & international flights from Terminal 2, April 21 onwards

Keeping the current grip of the pandemic in mind, the Maharashtra government has undertaken and implemented a slew of stringent COVID-19 protocols, inclusive of a 15-day curfew. Now, to streamline the operations at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, at par with COVID norms and to monitor air travellers, the officials have taken another step ahead.
