Facilitating an easier commute for daily travellers, Western Railway has started five Unreserved Special Trains to different destinations over its Mumbai Division. In view of the rise in passenger load during the year-end, the western zone of Indian Railway has initiated this special service connecting Maharashtra and Gujarat, starting today. Reportedly, this train will run on five routes including Bandra, Valsad, Virar, Vapi and Surat. Read on to check the schedule of these trains.
Trains set to ply daily on 5 routes until further notice!
After a huge demand from local commuters, the western wing of Indian Railways has finally launched long-distance unreserved trains from Mumbai to Gujarat. As per reports, these five trains are said to ply every day from the aforesaid stations until further notice. As per the statement issued by Western Railways, all the passengers are requested to abide by pandemic-mandated restrictions while following COVID-appropriate behaviour.
The Bandra Terminus-Vapi Unreserved Special Train will depart from Bandra station at 9:15 AM and reach Vapi at 13:25 PM on the same day. The Virar-Valsad shuttle service will leave the Virar station at 11:30 hours from tomorrow and reach its destination at 15:00 hours. The Valsad-Bandra Terminus train will start at 16:35 PM tomorrow and arrive at the destination at 21:10 PM. The Vapi-Virar shuttle will start at 14:00 hours and 16:20 hours. The Virar to Surat Unreserved train will start from tomorrow, leave the Virar station at 17:05 PM and reach Surat at 23:20 PM on the same day. This train will make the reverse journey the next day at 4:15 AM and reach Virar at 9:55 PM.
