NIRF rankings 2023 were announced recently, and while IIT Madras bagged the title for India’s best educational institution in the overall category, Lucknow University has shown a drastic improvement in its rankings by jumping 80 spots this year, ranking in at 115th.
According to the officials at Lucknow University, the achievement of receiving the A++ grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) is the catalyst behind LU’s jump in NIRF rankings. They also identified the LU faculty enrollment drive as a factor in its improvement.
