Harshita A Patel, who began her journey with Railways on November 17, 2003, was initially appointed as a commercial clerk. Her extensive experience, gained over years of dedicated service, positions her as an invaluable asset within the organisation.
Emphasising on the achievement, an official from Western Railway was further noted saying that empowering women brings about both social and economic change in the society.
As Mumbai’s 1st female Deputy Station Superintendent in WR, Harshita stands as a symbol of progress in the railway sector. Her story serves as a reminder that no dream is too big and no obstacle too insurmountable for those who dare to chase their dreams.
